An excellent value Merlot brought in by customer request and added to our list after we discovered why they enjoy it, a great example of what a young merlot should taste like, smooth and packed full of ripe dark fruits. Very enjoyable with food or on its own.

 

Production area
Languedoc Roussillon. The vineyards contain sandy limestone clay.

Description
colour is an intense dark ruby red offering a nose of red fruits with distinct notes of plum aromas. The palate is full bodied and smooth withn ripe, juicy fruit dark fruits.

Food Pairings
Pairs very well with red meat, especially grilled meat dishes, game and blue cheeses or hard cheeses.
